I have been told that many times that I need to update my blog. I'm the worst when it comes to this. I guess I just feel like my life isn't that exciting so why would anyone want to read about it and see pictures of me. Well I'm updating but sorry no pictures. I don't really have any new ones but I promise I will in a few weeks after the wedding. Its been crazy around here. Those who have planned a wedding before will understand. I work full time and when I have any free time I'm wedding planning and if there's any free time left after that I'm hanging out with DJ or I'm sleeping. The good news is I am almost done! Yeah!!! I just have a few things to tie up and then I get to relax and just hang out until a day or 2 before then I'm sure I will start panic mode. Anyone who wants to come is more than welcome. If you didn't get your invitation by now let me know we had some address mix ups so I'll get you out a new one. We're having it at Wadley Farms in Lindon. If you want to see what it looks like they have a website. Its wadleyfarms.com. Again anyone who wants to come is more than welcome just check out their website and get the address and directions. Its from 12pm-2pm Saturday August 22.

Lost our little chocolate guy.

We lost a puppy yesterday. It was really hard. We're not sure exactly what happened but they were alone with Ebby for about 2 hours while our work schedules overlapped. DJ came home and found the little guy. I'm glad it wasn't me. It was hard enough just hearing about. They say it happens to a lot of litters but I thought for sure we would be ok for having only 4. Hopefully we won't loose anymore!!!

PUPPIES!!! 2 chocolate females, 1 chocolate male, 1 black male

Well its been kind of a rough last couple of days. Ebby started going into labor on Tuesday evening. She was really restless and whiny all night and neither DJ or I got very much sleep. Wednesday morning I got up and she was even more antsy and started leaking some nasty green goo stuff so I decided I better stay home from work thinking she was probably going to be delivering anytime. I was wrong. I sat and waited and waited all the while trying to keep her calm and keep the mess confined to her little pool we bought for her to have her puppies in. At about 10pm our neighbor came over to check on Ebby cause she has delivered lots of puppies and unlike us actually knows what she's doing and what to expect. She told us that she thought Ebby was still a little ways out and would maybe have them sometime the next day. So we left her blocked in the kitchen and headed to bed around 11:30pm. Sometime around 1 DJ got up and let her outside cause she was constantly whining and we couldn't sleep. It didn't help at all so by this time it was probably around 1:15 and we were both up and exhausted and frustrated. DJ sent me to bed cause I had to work the next day and he decided to stay up with her hoping to calm her down a little and make her somewhat comfortable. So here I am laying in bed trying to fall asleep and no more than 10 min later DJ comes bursting through the door and says I think there's a puppy on the ground. So I went running out there and sure enough there was our first little puppy. The cute little runt. So we got her cleaned up and called our neighbor to come help us with the rest. About 2 hours later all 4 were out and screaming for food. Ebby is doing really good and being an awesome new mom. We are so grateful for our neighbors for offering and being so willing to help us. Without them I would have been freaking out.....more than I already was!

Here's a cute picture of DJ with puppy #1 shortly after she was born

Here's a couple pictures of all 4 together shortly after the last puppy arrived

Here's our little black boy. SOOO CUTE!

Here are the 3 chocolate ones. Sorry the one is hiding. The one on the left is the runt. She's super cute and DJ and I are already getting kind of attached to her.
Here's all 4 together. They were moving around so much while I was trying to get this picture so this is the best I could get.

I'm sorry I gave up on my blog for a while. Its not a very good excuse why but my computer is really slow and I hate waiting for it to load things up which is partly why I don't have a picture to go along with this update.
There isn't really anything new going on with us right now. Obviously we've been through a few holidays and birthdays since I was on here last and now we're coming into spring and I'm so excited!. My puppy isn't so much a puppy anymore he's taller than Ebby so by the time he fills out all the way he's going to be huge.
DJ is out of town working in Las Vegas this week. Although I am grateful he has work it's hard for him to be gone.
For those who don't know Tyson, Stephanie and their little boys moved down to Utah and they are right down the road from us so its nice to have more family so close to us!!! We're so excited to have them here and we can't wait to have some fun BBQ's this summer! Now if we can just get the rest of our family to move here *hint hint*
I'm hoping there's going to be some fun events going on this summer...... so I'll try to keep you all updated! love you all!

I made these today for Halloween. It was a lot of fun and really easy!
SCARY MONSTER FINGERS
2 cups crushed graham crackers
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup melted butter
1 bag pretzel rods broken in half
sliced almonds (finger nails)
red tube frosting (blood)
Mix the first 4 ingredients together. Form the mixture around the half pretzel rod. Add a sliced almond for a finger nail and red frosting to the other end for blood. Use the handle end of a spoon or fork to make the wrinkles in the knuckles.
(This is the same recipe used to make peanut butter balls. You just form a ball and then roll it in melted chocolate and then let it set)

Here's a little video of DJ kicking the leaves around and Huck acting like a tard jumping and biting the leaves. Enjoy!

So every year we have planted a garden and my favorite things are the pumpkins. The vines growing along the fence are grape vines and this year one little pumpkin decided to grow up on the fence in the grapes. See if you can find it. Then there's a close up too.

FINE I'LL UPDATE MY BLOG!

Ok fine I guess I'll update since my life is soooo exciting. There's really nothing going on right now. We went out to dinner and to a Toby Keith and Montgomery Gentry concert on saturday night with both of DJ's sisters and their husband and boyfriend and that was a lot of fun. (sorry ashley I didn't take my camera so no pics). We don't get to do stuff like that very often.....not because we can't but we just don't.
We are getting excited for fall coming!!! Me because it's my favorite season. I love the fall colors and smells. I love that it starts to get cooler and there's less and less daylight all the time. I love decorating and somehow it never feels like i have enough. I'm excited to pick the pumpkins (my favorite) and other vegetables out of my garden and I'm going to attempt to make grape jelly and maybe juice with the grapes also growing in our yard. Wish me luck its MESSY!!!
Now DJ on the other hand........it means HUNTING SEASON is here!!! The opening day of the duck hunt is in 12 days. Getting ready for this hunt usually means a lot of talking on the phone with his buddies (usually going way over his minutes), getting all his clothes cleaned and ready, re-stringing the weighted lines on his decoys, building a blind on his duck hunting boat, and my all time favorite him walking around the house blowing his duck call! (not that i don't get to hear it enough all year long too)
We are both going on separate vacations in about 2 1/2 weeks. Him of course hunting on the snake river in Idaho and me up to Rexburg with my mom to visit Marissa at school! We just found out that we'll probably be staying in the same town (Idaho Falls) however we most likely will not cross paths. It should be a lot of fun!
Well thats all I have for right now.........
